Karlton Jones Biography

Karlton Jones is an international multi-talented Smooth Jazz and Gospel recording artist. His music is often described as a passionate, inspiring, and soulful blend of multiple genres.

Halle, is Karlton’s most recent highly anticipated single that is predicted to shake up the Gospel, Smooth Jazz, and Pop charts and has crossed over to the iTunes Worldwide chart reaching #8! The song is a fusion of Karlton’s soprano saxophone played with an Afrobeat track that was produced and written by Karlton and mixed/mastered by Jesse Ernster and Gerhard Westphalen. Halle features strings by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra and vocals by Scott Evans from Ghana and Theresa Phondo from Malawi.

Karlton has had several successful singles such as Why Not, Lagos, The Answer, Supahero, I Believe, and Inside of Me. Many of his songs have reached the Billboard most added charts. He has also had success reaching #1 on the SmoothJazz.com chartbound 30 below charts, #3 on the Mediabase Smooth Jazz charts, and #62 on the Smooth Jazz Network charts. In addition, Karlton’s most recent notable appearance was when he walked the red carpet in 2022 at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

Karlton was once a secular Hip-Hop artist but in 2007 that all changed when one morning he heard the audible voice of God.  Several weeks later he had a near death experience that lead him to completely give his life to Jesus Christ.  

Born and raised in North Carolina Karlton is often inspired by his family to make music. Karlton hopes his music encourages the listener to seek God and recognize He is the answer to all our problems.
